How It Works

Before we can walk together, we need to know each other. That's why every partnership begins not with a form, but with a conversation. Over time, as trust and clarity grow, the relationship deepens into a formal partnership built around the health and mission of your specific congregation.

Reach Out

It starts with a simple reach-out. We'll connect with your pastor or key leaders for a series of informal conversations to get to know your church, your context, and where God is leading you. There's no pressure and no commitment at this stage, just relationship.

Interest Form

Meet the Team

As the relationship develops, we'll formally introduce your church to our Multiplication Partner Assessment Team, a group of Brentwood Baptist lay leaders and staff who help steward our partnership process. This is where we begin to discern together whether a formal partnership is the right next step.

Submit Your Ministry Documents

You'll submit a set of ministry documents that help us understand where your church is and where it's headed. These typically include:

Leadership and Financial Structure
Statement of Faith and Practice
Pastor Bio(s)
Lead Team Overview

Partnership Confirmed

Our assessment team reviews your documents, affirms the partnership, and works with you to determine the right allocation of support, whether that's people, financial resources, training, or other ministry assistance.

Walk the Journey Together

Once the partnership is confirmed, we'll begin working through a structured process together, assessing your congregation's health and helping you move through three stages of growth:

Assess

We start by evaluating the internal health of your church's people and systems. This means honest, assessment across seven foundations: Beliefs, Purpose, Mission, Vision, Values, Strategy, and Culture. We never go in condemning. We go in encouraging, enriching, and ready to walk with you through whatever we find.

Apply

With a clear picture of where you are, we'll help you implement strategies that lead to making disciples, maturing leaders, and engaging your community. This is where the work begins to take shape, with coaching, resources, and ongoing partnership.

Multiply

As health grows, so does capacity. In this stage, your congregation begins to look outward, partnering with or planting other churches, sending workers into the mission field, and becoming an agent of Gospel multiplication in your community and beyond.

The goal at every stage is the same: helping your church become the healthiest, most outwardly focused version of what God has called it to be, for your people, in your community. And as you grow, our hope is that you'll turn around and do the same for someone else.
