Program Structure
The residency focuses on two major areas that work together to develop you as a bivocational minister:
Training, Coaching, and Mentoring
You'll receive structured training and personalized coaching from experienced ministers who understand the unique challenges and opportunities of bivocational ministry. Your mentoring relationship is designed around your specific calling, context, and capacity.
Placement in a Ministry Context
We'll work with you to identify and connect you with a ministry placement that fits your gifts, your calling, and your schedule. The goal is genuine ministry experience alongside your career, not in spite of it.
Balancing Career and Ministry
One of the most important things we want to help you navigate is the practical reality of doing both well. That means honest conversations about time, boundaries, energy, and sustainability. The coaching and mentoring you receive through the residency will address not just your ministry development but your overall capacity to lead faithfully in both arenas over the long term.
